Meet South Portland chiropractor Dr. James Eckert.

Dr. Jim Eckert has learned that it's not knowledge alone which makes the difference in life and health, it's the wisdom to understand the whole picture. Knowledge without wisdom is dangerous. He strives to understand information by viewing it through a window of wisdom. His philosophy towards life and health is what sets him apart from other doctors.
 
Dr. Eckert earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Pre-med/Biology from Gannon University in Erie, Pa. He did his postgraduate work at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa graduating cum laude with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree. Dr. Jim Eckert is also an active member in both the Maine Chiropractic Association (MCA), International Chiropractic Association (ICA), ICA Council on Philosophy, The Federation of Straight Chiropractors and Organizations* (FSCO), The World Chiropractic Alliance (WCA), President's Club of Palmer College, Palmer Alumni Association and The Chiropractic Leadership Alliance (CLA).


Meet South Portland chiropractor Dr. Lizette Eckert.

One of Dr. Lizette's best attributes is the depth of her caring. She truly understands and empathizes with her clients concerns and wants to help make a difference in their lives.

Dr. Lizette attended Blackhawk College for her undergraduate work where she had a 4.0 GPA.
 
She went on to follow in her father's footsteps attending Palmer College of Chiropractic and graduating Magna Cum Laude and 4th in a class of 170. She has special interests in the health concerns of women.

Dr. Lizette Eckert is also an active member in both the Maine Chiropractic Association (MCA), International Chiropractic Association (ICA), ICA Council on Chiropractic Pediatrics, The Federation of Straight Chiropractors and Organizations* (FSCO), The World Chiropractic Alliance (WCA), President's Club of Palmer College, Palmer Alumni Association, and The Chiropractic Leadership Alliance (CLA).

* "Straight" refers to chiropractic being practiced without the use allopathic treatments and has nothing to do with sexual orientation.


Meet South Portland chiropractor Dr. Christine Maguire.

Dr. Christine E. Maguire had a practice in St. Louis, Missouri for 5 years before returning to the East Coast 3 years ago. Dr. Maguire joined Innate Chiropractic in 2003 where she enjoys the family atmosphere. Throughout her 9-plus years of practice, Dr. Maguire has always enjoyed adjusting children to allow them to experience the many health benefits of chiropractic as early as possible.  

Dr. Maguire earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Providence College in Rhode Island. She earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, Missouri. Dr. Maguire has been featured in the new “Chicken Soup for the Chiropractic Soul” with one of her personal patient’s stories. She has been awarded Business Woman of the Year and has been President of the Business and Professional Women’s Organization. She coaches softball and soccer in her community and is a member of The Masters Circle, a personal and professional development organization for chiropractors.
